I have read comments about how overseas account holders are having a hard time accessing or using this new app. It is the same for me. All i need is a one time PIN to verify my phone. Unfortunately, i have my old phone number registered for my account. I called customer service and they told me to contact my branch. I called the branch and they are making me go through hoops to have my phone number changed to have access to this new app.

There is no option to do it online. No option to do it by phone. I am in the US and they want me to be present at the branch to request for a phone number change. The only other option is to email the branch, wait for their reply and the form, fill up the form, have it consular stamped.

All this just to get my phone number changed!? I have full access to my accounts and linked email address as of now until they deactivate the old app. Oh one more thing, to close my account, apparently, i have to do the same things i just mentioned. I will definitely move all my accounts to BDO and my trade accounts to colfinancial better options for people reading this planning on doing business with BPI Also, i would have all my family transfer to a different bank.
